Job Title: PROJECTS COORDINATOR
Job location: Lebanon (Beirut with frequent field travel)
Reports to: Country Representative
Contract Type: National Staff, Full-Time
Salary Range: $1,900 - $2,200
JOB SUMMARY
The Projects Coordinator is responsible for the planning, implementation, coordination, and monitoring of MedGlobal health programs in Lebanon, ensuring quality service delivery, donor compliance, effective partnerships, and adaptability in emergency and volatile contexts.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Program Implementation & Oversight
• Lead day-to-day implementation of health programs across PHCs, mobile teams, hospitals, and emergency responses.
• Ensure activities align with approved proposals, budgets, workplans, and timelines.
• Support needs assessments and adaptive programming based on evolving humanitarian and security contexts.
• Ensure compliance with Ministry of Public Health regulations and international humanitarian standards.
Coordination & Partnerships
• Coordinate with MoH, health clusters, UN agencies, INGOs, and local partners.
• Represent MedGlobal in coordination meetings as delegated.
• Support partner monitoring and joint reporting where applicable.
Monitoring, Evaluation & Reporting
• Work closely with the MEAL Officer to ensure data quality and routine monitoring.
• Contribute to donor reports, internal reports, and dashboards.
• Identify implementation gaps and support corrective actions.
Operational & Team Coordination
• Coordinate with logistics, finance, HR, and security to ensure smooth implementation.
• Support planning and implementation of medical volunteer missions (RMMs).
Risk, Compliance & Safeguarding
• Ensure activities comply with security protocols and safeguarding standards.
• Flag operational, financial, or contextual risks in a timely manner.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
• Bachelor's degree in public health, Medicine, Health Management, or related field (master's preferred for Program Manager).
• Minimum 3–5 years of NGO or humanitarian experience.
• Experience with donor engagement and reporting, budgeting, and proposal development.
• Fluency in English and Arabic.
• Strong organizational, coordination, and leadership skills.
